Hi everyone ,

It`s been some time since I posted something here on the forum , but not on the WWS blog !!
Today I want to tell you some stories , that have happened very recently , and one has been in the news in the UK.

In the last half , of 2015 , a very popular radio dj , was sharing his life , with some colleagues and the audience.
He was telling , about the pregnancy of his girlfriend , and when it was time for the bay to be born.
In the last months of 2015 , I don`t recall exactly , in what moth , the twins were born.

You can imagine his pride and happiness , and he was very emotional about this big event in their life.
But , oohhhh , what disaster struck him , when the twins , were a little bit older!!!

For some reason , not known , to the public and his colleagues , he had doubts about he being the biological father.
And so , he had a DNA test performed. At first , it was his plan , to not tell the people about it!!
Imagine , you have been , sitting on a pink cloud for some months. And when the babies are here , you are not sure if you are their father !

I am sure , that his is mind bugging and really devestating for every man.Sure enough , the test proved , that HE IS NOT THE BIOLOGICAL FATHER !!!!

It was his mother , who urged him , to come and open up , on this , how hard it may even be , for him.
Think of the consequences , if he would let everybody , to believe , that they are his children. When the children are teens , how will they react , when they will learn , that "their parents" , were lying all the time.

By letting them think , that he is their father , when in fact , he is not.

This dj , had a relation for several years , with this woman. And they were living together for some years.
So , why did his girlfriend , had sex with another man , and let him believe , that he is the father ??????

It really makes you wonder , yes ??This did not happen in the USA , but in my country in Europe.

And here is the second story , I want to tell you about.
This happened , just last week in the UK.Maybe you have heard about it on Facebook.

This woman 33 yrs old , appeared on the talk show - " this Morning" - in England.
She is seeking for a sperm "DONOR" , to have a child.
NO WAIT , before you start to jump to conclusions ...........................

She ALREADY HAS 12 CHILDREN ..................................

Ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh , am I missing something here .............. ?????????????

She mentioned , that she is taking the children , just for the children`s social security money ..................
She "collects" 40.000 British pound per year ...................

In the show , she was bragging about the summer vacation , that she and the 12 kids , will make to Mallorca this year.
About her very expensive hand bag ..............
And about her breast surgery , that she had planned ........................

Am I getting crazy , when I hear ALL THIS ??????????????????????
What sort of society has this become ?? Do you believe , that it is right , to let women have more to say or to
decide ????

I ask myself , is this were feminism , is shooting itself in the foot ????

Naturally , the British people are furious.Because she is having a good life , from their tax money ..................

I wonder , if things can get any worse !!!! With feminism .................

Glad , that I decided to seek my happiness else where .....................

Guys , when will you follow .............................................

Advice on getting your Russian Girlfriend a tourist Visa to the US

I've talked to a lot of Men with experience in this subject and I also have my own experience(s).

If and when you decide to try to get your girlfriend a visa to America, you must understand the thought process of the immigration service. Their first and foremost concern is that your girlfriend will return to Russia at the end of her stay. Other than her word, what do they have? They will look at what is "most likely."

If your Girlfriend is unemployed and looks like a Playboy model, any right-thinking human will think that there is not a very good chance that she will return to Russia, whether or not she stays with you. In America, she will have opportunities. In Russia, she's just "another pretty girl."

In order to "prove" that she will return, they want to see a compelling reason for her to return.

Does she have any (hard) assets in Russia?
Does she have a good job?
Does she care for a child or elderly person?

If your girlfriend has a child and the child is staying behind, there is a very good chance that she will return. If she is the president of a corporation and has a good income, she will probably return.

If she has no compelling reason to return, they will assume she's coming as a tourist with the intent to migrate.

Another big mistake I see guys making is that they have their Girlfriend put down on the question that asks, "Who is paying for your trip?" And they answer, "My boyfriend." This is a huge fail and your application will be denied. If your Woman doesn't have sufficient assets on her own to make the trip, the CPB will assume that she will not return.

If you can trust her, it is better to send her the money she will use to support herself while in America. Have her put it in her bank and bring the statement.

Of course, if you don't know her well, if you're not in a serious relationship, this is a big problem. Best to meet her in Egypt, Turkey or in Prague.

One of the questions that is asked is if she has a relationship with an American. If you answer yes, immigration might reject the visa application and suggest instead a fiance visa. Something to consider.

In this way, an alternate possibility to the fiance Visa is a marriage in the US after arrival on a tourist visa. However, I would argue against applying for a change of status on that visit. It may be construed that there was fraud in that the original reason for the visit was the marriage. Better to return home, married, spend some time in Russia and then return later on another (or the same) tourist visa and then apply for a change of status.

Quite technically, if you decide to get married BEFORE she comes to the US, you must get a fiance Visa. So, don't decide with 100% certainty that you will get married until after she arrives in the US.

While quite a tricky complication, it is important to follow the spirit of the law to avoid breaking it.

Entry passport stamp for Canada issued to a citizen of the United States by the Canada Border Services Agency at Vancouver International Airport in 2012.A foreign national wishing to enter Canada must obtain a temporary resident visa unless he or she is a citizen of one of the 51 eligible visa exempt countries and territories.[1] Every year, more than 35 million people visit Canada.[2]

Canada plans to introduce an electronic travel authorization for visa-free eligible nationals in March 2016.[3]
Canada
Countries with visa-free access to CanadaVisa exemptions[edit]The citizens of the following countries and territories are able to visit or transit through Canada with a valid passport and without obtaining a visa for a period of up to six months.[4] Visitors are eligible if they are in good health, can convince an immigration officer that they have ties (job, home, financial assets or family) that will take them back to their home country and have enough money for their stay. In some cases a medical exam[5] and letter of invitation may be required.[6]

Inclusion criteria
In order to be added to the visa waiver list a country has to fulfill about 40 conditions, grouped into seven categories:[10]

socio-economic conditions
immigration issues
travel document integrity
safety and security issues
border management
human rights issues
bilateral considerations.
The decision is made by analyzing all of the criteria in an overall review instead of a checklist so there is a certain level of flexibility.

Transit without a visa[edit]In addition to visa exempt nationals, the Transit Without Visa (TWOV) program and the China Transit Program (CTP) allow certain foreign nationals to transit through Canada on their way to and from the United States without a Canadian transit visa. They also must hold a valid US visa, travel on an approved airline (either Air Canada, Air China, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Jazz Air, Sky Regional Airlines, and Air Georgian) and transit through a participating Canadian international airport (either Vancouver International Airport or Toronto Pearson International Airport, Terminal 1 only).[11]

For Transit Without Visa those are the nationals of the following countries:[12]

Indonesia
Thailand
Taiwan (those that do not qualify for the visa exemption)
Philippines
For China Transit Program, the travellers must hold the People's Republic of China passport and leave from one of the following cities: Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Manila, Seoul Incheon, Taipei, Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita.[13][14]

There is a plan to allow all passengers to transit without a visa through the Vancouver International Airport.[15]

Canadian visas[edit]
Canadian visaCitizens of the majority of countries need a temporary resident visa to visit Canada. They need to apply at one of the consular offices of Canada or at one of the Canadian Visa application centers (run by VFS Global).[16] There is no separate application for business visitors. The temporary resident visa covers all visitors, including those in Canada on business.[17] Some visitors are eligible to apply entirely online.[18] Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents can apply for the parent and grandparent super visa which allows them to stay for up to two years in Canada without renewing their status.[19]

Citizens of the following 29 countries, as of September and December 2013, also must provide biometrics (fingerprints and photograph):[20]

Citizens of Somalia are banned from entering Canada or undergoing Transit in Canada. Exempt are those holding a Temporary Resident Permit issued by a Canadian mission, entry is allowed if holding a visa. [21]
Changes to the list of visa-exempt countries and territories[edit]On 5 September 2002, visa restrictions were reintroduced for Saudi Arabian citizens travelling to Canada because 'Saudi Arabia has not demonstrated the necessary will nor that it possesses the infrastructure to deny the use of its passports to terrorists, criminals or other inadmissible persons'.[23]

On 24 September 2002, visa restrictions were reintroduced for Malaysian citizens travelling to Canada because 'the Malaysian passport and passport issuing system are vulnerable to abuse'.[24][25]

On 11 May 2004, visa restrictions were reintroduced for Costa Rican citizens travelling to Canada because the 'number of Costa Rican nationals travelling to Canada to claim refugee protection or to enter the United States illegally, using Canada as a transit point, continues to grow' and also because there is 'a growing incidence of Costa Rican document abuse by nationals of neighbouring countries'.[26]

On 26 March 2009, visa requirements were lifted for Croatian citizens travelling to Canada because 'immigration violation and visa application refusal rates for Croatian nationals have steadily decreased over the past five years, while the number of refugee claims and removals has remained low'.[27]

On 13 July 2009, visa restrictions were reintroduced for Mexican citizens travelling to Canada because of three main factors: the number of refugee claims for Mexican nationals has substantially increased from less than 3 500 in 2005 to almost 9 500 in 2008, the immigration violation rate has steadily increased over the past three years and the risks related to travel documents, organised crime and corruption.[28]

Canadian citizens enjoy visa-free access to the Schengen Area, which includes the Czech Republic. When the Czech Republic joined the European Union with 9 other countries in 2004, the European Union started a dialogue with the Canadian government to lift visa requirements for citizens of these countries to receive visa reciprocity between the all Schengen countries and Canada. The result was the lifting of visa requirements for Czech citizens in October 2007.[29] However, on 16 July 2009, Canada reintroduced visa requirements for Czech citizens as the overstay percentage was very high because many Roma filed for asylum.[30][31] The EU urged Canada that "This highly regrettable situation should be brought to an end as soon as possible."[32] In October 2013, following a contentious reform of the refugee determination system that significantly brought down the number of false asylum claims, Canada lifted visa requirement for Czech citizens effective immediately on November 14, 2013.[33]

Starting from 22 November 2010, holders of an ordinary Taiwan passport with a personal identification number were able to enter Canada without a visa because 'TRV refusal rates and the number of immigration violations, removals, and asylum claims by Taiwan passport holders are low'.[34]

On 13 September 2012, Botswana, Namibia, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Swaziland were removed from the list of exempted nations. As a result, citizens of these five countries were required to obtain visas in advance to travel to or transit through Canada.[35] Botswana, Namibia, and Swaziland were removed primarily due to concerns relating to human trafficking (especially of minors) and the use of fraudulent documents. Also, Namibia had the highest immigration violation rate, with 81% of its citizens in Canada committing immigration violations, and 71% of Namibian travellers made asylum claims in 2011 in Canada. Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines were removed mainly because of unreliable travel documents, in particular because 'criminals from these countries can legally change their names and acquire new passports'. In certain cases, citizens of these two countries 'who were removed from Canada as security risks later returned using different passports'. In addition, the removal of Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was prompted by the 'unacceptably high number of asylum claims from St. Lucia and St. Vincent, with about one and a half percent and three percent of the population of these countries making asylum claims in Canada over the past five years'.

On 12 May 2014, Canadian government sources announced a possible removal of visa requirements for Chilean citizens, following its participation as the 38th member of the Visa Waiver Program.[36] Visa requirements were finally lifted on 22 November 2014.[37]

In October 2014, it was reported that the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement with the European Union might not be ratified by Bulgaria and Romania unless the visa requirement was lifted for their citizens by Canada.[38][39] Under Canadian legislation, for a country to be added to the visa waiver list there should be less than 3% immigration violations and visa refusal rate of less than 3% over 3 years. For Bulgarians the immigration violation rate was 4.4% in 2013 and the average 3 year visa refusal rate was 15.76%. For Romanians the immigration violation rate was 2.7% in 2013 and the average 3 year visa refusal rate was 15%. Even though the thresholds are not absolute, Canadian authorities notified the EU that political manoeuvre is not possible when the difference between the threshold and rates is too big.[40]

As of 22 November 2014, holders of Saint Kitts and Nevis passports need a visa to enter Canada due to national security concerns.[41]

In December 2014 the Canadian Foreign Minister announced changes in legislation that would allow a visa-free regime for all EU citizens.[42]

In April 2015, the Prime Minister of Canada announced that Bulgarian, Romanian and Mexican citizens who have recently visited Canada or who have a US non-immigrant visa will be able to visit Canada without a visa but with an electronic authorization from 2016.[43][44][45]

Electronic travel authorization[edit]In December 2013, the Canadian government announced intention to introduce an electronic travel authorization system (eTA) similar to the US Electronic System for Travel Authorization as part of an action plan to establish a common approach to screening visa-exempt foreign nationals.[46]

Visitors will apply through Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada website and will be required to pay a cost recovery fee. Visitors will have to provide biographic details, passport and background information that is now required in visa applications. Following a risk assessment of the applicant, an eTA valid for multiple entries to Canada over a period of up to five years should be issued. Privacy Commissioner of Canada expressed concern over the plan.[47]

The eTA will come into operation on March 15, 2016. Citizens of the United States and citizens of France who are resident in Saint Pierre and Miquelon will be exempt.[48]

<Happy New Year! Lengthy post below, but I hope it kick-starts the forum.>

Hi Scott, all,

Thanks for setting up this forum. I stumbled onto it during a recent google search. I've been a lurker on another dating/travel board, RooshVForum Travel (http://www.rooshvforum.com/forum-3.html), for some time now to research other's travel experiences. It's good to see new forums like this created for like-minded individuals looking for possible long-term relationships in EE. The blog is great and still tons of information I'm digging through.

Quick background about myself, I live in southern California, mid-late 30s (though I've been told I look mid-20s, maybe the healthy eating and generally active lifestyle with the beaches nearby). My ethnic background is actually Ukrainian, with both sides (great grandparents) coming from Kiev and Odessa, so this perked my interest to visit EE.

I'm in the tech industry, and worked myself into upper management in a large tech corp over the past 14 yrs, now overseeing SW engineering, and doing quite a bit of business travel for customer site visits (mostly to China/Korea). It's a competitive field with an aggressive work culture (akin to the kind of hours at big finance firms in New York), so it's taken a toll on the social life. I've got vacation time stacked up from past three years. So I'm looking to reset priorities now that I've gotten close to where I wanted to go, and missing out on other things in life.

In general I've found it tough to find the right girl here in the States. As mentioned similarly in the blogs, attractive women are few and far between (at least for me, for any of the "looks" I go for, and SoCal is supposed to be a great area for it). Of the few who I find attractive, they have the wrong attitude & values for someone I would give my time. I also don't let them boss me around like they can other guys. So I've been waiting it out for the right one.

The type of look that strikes me is darker/brown hair with light eyes, haute kind of nose (tall/pointy nose), and great curves (legs, hips, wide shoulders). I've spent quite a bit of time in China, and although in Shanghai I've seen several model types with long-legs, I would have a hard time there (pollution is not great either). Based on what I've seen in photos of EE, browsing some of the nightlife web-sites below for example, Ukraine or Russia might be the place.

I'm planning for a Ukraine trip this summer (June and July), with no expectations of necessarily meeting a great girl, but to anyway have some summer fun, a cultural experience, and create some film (cinematography is a hobby, 4K video is great).

I have several questions for the experienced guys, if you can provide any of your insights:

Originally I was planning Moscow and go through the Russian visa process (even though the city is more expensive - not a big deal for me). My thought is there would be a higher density of people than Kiev, with less tourists, more people, so higher probability of running into a great girl. I also heard the women may be more receptive to foreigners because of less perception of "sex tourism" than Ukraine, and have better general English skills. I canceled this off since the geopolitical atmosphere turned negative with the Ukraine conflict, recent western sanctions, and likely upcoming Russian economic downturn. Even though USD is doing well against the ruble, I figure it all would cause more hostility from locals and government officials (visas/police/etc), and if I met someone, it would just add lots of hassle and problems for future meetings.

How do you feel on this, are there more advantages to Moscow that I should re-think this, or Kiev would be just as fine?

I wasn't planning on "pipelining" women up-front on dating web-sites or vk.com. My impression was that I'll find better quality by meeting someone in person who I'm attracted to, in cafes, walking around, or in the nightlife (bars/dancing). Bad idea? Or would you say the quality is comparable online, or that it's actually harder to meet or break yourself into social groups in a short period on travel, so it's more efficient to pipeline instead?

I am thinking 4 weeks in Kiev (all of June) and 2 weeks in Odessa (early July). This looks to be the time when the summer nightlife options open up. Do you think this is enough time to meet someone and possibly start a relationship? I saw in one of the blog posts that some may have gone for shorter periods - 2 weeks.

Is it worth time to visit Odessa, or just stay in Kiev? I read good things about Odessa in terms of nightlife, relaxed/beach atmosphere, and quality of women. But would many of the girls be traveling with their partners on vacations, so less available women, more tourists/guys, or women less receptive? Any other advantages of Odessa against Kiev in summer?

For Odessa, would you recommend staying in the city center or in Arkadia? Based on what I've read/trip-advisor, it looks like in the summer all the great nightlife is in Arkadia near the beach, but mostly families during the day. However, it looks like most of the nice cafes and people watching is 20 minutes drive in the city center, near Deribasivska Street, with outdoor terraces, but only a few nightclubs scattered about.

For Kiev, I was looking at staying near the Arena Entertainment complex at the south end of Khreschatyk Street. This appears to be within walking distance to the main nightlife complexes, as well as nice restaurants in the surrounding area. The other areas I've read is the Maidan Square or Podol historical district, but to me it looks like both of these appear further away from the main areas? Let me know your suggestions.

I've read a number of people recommend apartment rentals rather than hotels, especially for longer stays. I'm looking into this. I've found a couple good web-sites for searching: http://www.dobovo.com, http://realty.yandex.ru. There are some nice large apartments with jacuzzi, and in Odessa I saw a nice one overlooking the ocean on the 12th floor in Arkadia in a new building. Please share any bad/good experiences/tips in short-term renting.

Any tips for specific great nightlife spots in both Kiev and Odessa that you recommend? The high-end places look to be Skybar, Dali Park, Decadence House in Kiev, though I've read that these places can have prostitutes to avoid, and Ibiza in Odessa. I'm interested if anyone can share their general impressions. I found these web-sites nice to see a listing of the latest nightlife events, along with some nightly photo reports:

For Kiev:
http://geometria.ru/kiev/events
http://www.unick.kiev.ua/indexlast.htm
For Odessa:
http://www.weekend.od.ua/fotoreport.php

Any tips for the best non-nightlife places to "bump into someone" in both Kiev and Odessa? Any specific nice cafes to check out? For Kiev, I've heard just walking along Khreschatyk or Shevchenko Park.

As a travel tip, I've got Global Entry interview coming up (http://www.cbp.gov/global-entry/about), to avoid the immigration hassles and TSA for back & forth travel. Do you guys use it?

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes time to reply back.
