Springtime is great in Russia but Summer is best. For Ukraine, on the Black Sea, you can't beat the Odessa beaches in the Summertime.
The one thing I would like to experience is the midnight sun. It would be cool to walk the streets of place like St. Petersburg with a good woman during the white nights of summer. I'm sure there are some nice cities in eastern Russia that have pleasant summer weather and white nights?
