Haha, I had a good chuckle about the toilets. Wasn't expecting that at all.
But the difference in behaviour between the passengers on the 3 classes doesn't surprise me. Amazing how generous and giving these so-called working and peasant classes in Russia are, despite not having much in material possessions. Here's a blog from a British-Aussie adventure rider who fell in love with Russia, and he often writes glowingly of the generosity of Siberians whenever they encounter troubles with their bikes:
